Job description
About us
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.
Meet our client
An affectionate and energetic 11-year-old who lives with his family, in a home that has been carefully adapted to meet his needs. He requires part-time care during days, evenings, and overnight shifts, and it's essential that his care team brings positive energy and genuinely connects with his personality to keep him happy and engaged. He enjoys water activities, sensory toys, music, and spending time outdoors, so sharing these interests with him is a great way to build a strong bond.
Your role will include managing his seizures and clinical interventions, assisting with feeding and medication, supporting his mobility, providing oxygen when needed, and delivering attentive personal care. You'll also support him after school by engaging in therapeutic play and guiding his evening routine to help him settle for a restful night, all while managing his clinical needs with care and kindness.
If you're looking for a rewarding role where your care and compassion genuinely make a difference, we'd love to hear from you!
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, clients have the right to request either female or male staff. "This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."
