About Us

Signature Pharmacy is a cutting-edge online pharmacy founded in 2016 by Forbes 30 Under 30 alumnus Reece Samani. Designed as the "Deliveroo for pharmacy," we streamline prescription fulfillment and delivery for some of the UK’s largest telemedicine providers, processing up to 50,000 prescriptions per month.

In 2021, we expanded with SignatureRx, a powerful e-prescription platform now used by private doctors, hospitals, clinics, and telemedicine companies to generate over 80,000 prescriptions per month, connecting seamlessly with community pharmacies nationwide.

Together, we’re redefining digital healthcare through speed, efficiency, and innovation.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Business Development Manager to lead the growth and customer success efforts across both Signature Pharmacy and SignatureRx. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and team leadership.

You’ll work closely with clinics and healthcare providers to build meaningful partnerships, increase prescription volumes, improve platform utilisation, and drive commercial success.

2. Relationship Management & Onboarding
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clinics and providers.

  • Monitor and improve key business development metrics using CRM analytics.
4. Customer Success & Support Oversight
  • Lead and manage a small team of support agents ensuring timely, high-quality service.
  • Resolve customer issues escalated by the support team or flagged via CRM.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and tech teams to resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently.
5. Internal Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with pharmacy staff, tech developers, and operations to align goals and deliver excellent service.
  • Report directly to the CEO, providing regular updates on pipeline, performance metrics, and key outcomes.
  • Prepare presentations, business cases, and data reports for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Market Insight & Innovation
  • Stay on top of industry trends in digital health, pharmacy, and healthcare technology.
  • Propose and test new initiatives, products, or pricing models to enhance competitiveness.
Requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles (ideally in healthtech, pharmacy, or SaaS).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth and revenue targets.
  • Strong experience with CRM platforms (especially Hubspot and Intercom) and marketing automation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Team leadership or line management experience.
  • Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.

Desirable (But Not Essential)
  • Experience working with NHS or private healthcare systems.
  • Knowledge of e-prescribing regulations and pharmacy compliance.
  • Familiarity with APIs, healthcare data integration, or B2B SaaS implementation.

This is a hybrid role. We would require a minimum of 2-3 days in the office each week.
