As a Health Care Assistant, youll support adults living with complex mental health needs to live their best lives.

About the role

Our Health Care Assistants support people to live their best lives, whatever that looks like to them.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• encouraging and engaging people in learning and developing theirdaily living skillsand independence
• recognising when people are unwell and providing the appropriatesupport
• supporting people with theirpersonal caresuch as getting washed, having a shower and getting dressed
• assisting people atmeal times
• supporting people with theirhealth and wellbeingneeds
• encouraging people to take part insocial activities, both inside and outside the home
• promoting choice,dignity, independence and respect at all times
• filling incare records.

We have higher-than-average staffing levels when compared to other care providers, giving you more time to spend with the people you support.

About you

We value relevant experience and qualifications, but they arent essential for this role.
