We are looking for a confident and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in leading the clinical and care teams. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring high standards of care, and maintaining full compliance with CQC and company policies. This is a leadership role suited for a skilled Registered Nurse passionate about elderly and dementia care.
Key Responsibilities:Support the Home Manager in managing and developing the care home.
Lead and manage the clinical team, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and regular reviews of residents' health.
Ensure safe medication administration and accurate record keeping.
Monitor compliance with clinical governance, safeguarding, and infection control policies.
Participate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement activities.
Mentor and supervise nurses and care staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Act as the senior point of contact in the managers absence.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals.
Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
Prior experience in a senior nursing or deputy role in a care home setting.
Excellent clinical knowledge and leadership skills.
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and person-centred care.
Effective communication, problem-solving, and team management abilities.
