A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commissioning Home Manager to join a leading care provider to oversee the opening of a brand-new, luxury care home.
The Role
The Commissioning Home Manager will be responsible for the successful registration, commissioning, and opening of this high-end care facility, ensuring exceptional standards are embedded from the outset. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading all aspects of commissioning, from recruitment and training of the team to establishing robust operational policies and procedures.
- Driving occupancy and ensuring the home is market-ready, reflecting its premium positioning within the area.
- Upholding compliance with CQC regulations and delivering outstanding levels of care and hospitality.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and prospective residents and their families.
- Developing a person-centred culture that promotes dignity, independence, and the highest quality of life for residents.
The Person
The successful candidate will:
- Be an experienced Registered Manager with proven commissioning experience within the elderly care sector.
- Demonstrate a strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive occupancy in a competitive market.
- Be passionate about delivering exceptional care alongside an outstanding hospitality experience.
- Possess excellent leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and develop a new team.
