Job Title: Echocardiographer (BSE Accredited) - Insourcing Weekend Work Location: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Rate: £490 per day Schedule: Every Saturday & Sunday from 9th August 2025 to March 2026 Type: Locum / Insourcing Contract Job Overview: We are working in partnership with a well-established insourcing provider to recruit experienced Echocardiographers for a weekend contract based at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure regular weekend work at a high day rate, delivering vital cardiac diagnostics as part of a trusted NHS recovery initiative. Key Responsibilities: Independently conduct transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) to BSE standards Accurately report and document findings Collaborate with on-site consultants and the wider cardiology team Ensure high standards of patient care and clinical safety Maintain strict punctuality and attendance, given the nature of insourcing clinics Requirements: BSE Accreditation (essential) Minimum 2-3 years post-qualification experience Strong ability to work independently and manage workload Excellent communication and reporting skills Additional Information: Shifts run every Saturday and Sunday, with full-day sessions Contract runs August 2025 through to March 2026 £490 per day Due to the insourcing nature of this contract, 100% attendance is critical - clinics cannot run without the Echocardiographer
