Job description
We are seeking an experienced Audiologist with UK NHS experience to join a skilled clinical team of Audiologists in Westminster, Central London, delivering high-quality diagnostic hearing assessments within ENT and primary care pathways. The successful Audiologist will support GP led services in a busy, patient-focused environment. This flexible Audiology role offers up to 4 to 5 days per week (core hours 09:00 to 17:00), available on a part-time or full-time basis, with a competitive salary dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with secondary care clinicians and commissioners to develop and improve the Patient Care Pathway.
- Maintain clear communication with referring GPs to enhance clinical awareness and care continuity.
- Adhere to the organisation's Significant Event Analysis procedures and report untoward events promptly.
- Undertake appropriate clinical investigations in line with NHS standards.
- Ensure timely referrals to ENT GPwER or secondary care services where clinically indicated, following local pathways.
- Liaise with local Audiology and ENT Services as outlined in the Referral Pathway Overview.
- Work within the specifications of ENT Intermediate Service contracts.
- Carry out diagnostic hearing tests for patients with ENT conditions including:
- Audiogram
- Tympanogram
- Pure tone air and bone conduction
- Masking
Requirements
- HCPC registration or equivalent qualification in Audiology.
- Minimum one year of UK NHS experience, ideally within ENT or Audiology.
- Excellent communication and record‑keeping skills.
- Commitment to clinical quality, governance, and continuous improvement.
