FUNCTIONAL ASSESSOR – SOUTH EAST ENGLAND
Start Dates: June, July & August Start Dates Available
Locations Covered: Ashford | Chatham | Canterbury | Hastings
Base Salary: £39,500 + Annual Reviews & Bonus Structure
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours (Part-Time Available)
Working Model: Hybrid (70% Home-Based / 30% Site-Based)
Site Access: Applicants must live within commuting distance of either Ashford, Chatham, Canterbury or Hastings.

Salary Progression: Annual reviews and bonus potential Your Role – PIP and/or WCA Assessor:
You’ll be conducting structured assessments on behalf of the Department for Work & Pensions to support individuals claiming:
PIP (Personal Independence Payment) – understanding how physical or mental health conditions affect daily life
WCA (Work Capability Assessment) – evaluating a claimant’s ability to engage in work activities Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments via telephone, video, or in-person
Reviewing medical evidence and engaging with claimants to gather clinical insights
Producing clear, structured reports for DWP decision-making Flexi-Booking – Gain Control of Your Day
After your first 6 months:
You control your diary
Book assessments between 8am–6pm
As long as you meet daily targets, you decide your working pattern (within an 8am–8pm window) Perfect for clinicians seeking true flexibility in their schedule.

Valid HCPC or NMC registration – with 1 year’s registration.
Must have 1-year post-registration experience in adult healthcare
