General Practitioner - Manchester

We’re recruiting a General Practitioner to join the healthcare team within a Category B prison in Manchester. You’ll be part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care to individuals with a wide range of physical, mental health, and substance misuse needs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide face-to-face consultations for acute and chronic conditions

• Support integrated care pathways in partnership with nursing, pharmacy, and mental health teams

• Deliver assessments on new receptions and support planned care for existing residents

• Participate in safeguarding reviews, risk assessments, and MDT meetings

• Help shape and improve clinical services in a secure setting

What We’re Looking For:

• GMC registered GP with current licence to practise

• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or secure settings (prison experience not essential)

• Strong communication and risk management skills
