Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents conditions to the nursing staff.
• Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills in IT systems used for documentation and reporting.
• Foster a warm and welcoming environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong command of English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents when necessary.
• Basic IT skills are required for maintaining electronic records and documentation.
• A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when required.
