Healthcare Assistant Home Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care assistant to provide support and care for a teenage boy in Gainsborough. You will be taking the client out to engage in social activities such as trips to the park, cinema visits, bowling etc.

Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence

Must be over the age of 25

Hours:4 hours every Sunday

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations and activities with client
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Follow care plans and ensure client's safety and well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Qualifications:
- Valid, clean driver's license
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic IT skills to document care plans electronically
- Previous experience in home care or a related field
- Proficient in English language
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic towards clients' needs
- Must be over 25 years old due to insurance on the clients car
