About the Role
A leading biopharmaceutical organisation is seeking an experienced HIV Standards Support Manager to join its UK & Ireland HIV Business Unit on a 12-month contract. This hybrid role combines non-promotional service development work with field-based stakeholder engagement. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and allied healthcare professionals (AHPs) to support delivery of national HIV care standards and long-term service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Service Development & Support
- Assist HCPs in identifying and addressing gaps between local service delivery and national clinical standards (e.g., BHIVA, NHIVNA).
- Deliver educational sessions and tailored resources to support clinical best practice and improve standards of care.
- Engage HCPs in service evaluation and support implementation of routine health assessments for people living with HIV.
- Collaborate with external partners and internal colleagues to drive patient-centred service improvement initiatives.
- Support the creation and execution of targeted education programmes and service toolkits.
- Represent the organisation at professional meetings and conferences, promoting service quality and best practice.
Internal Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with head office and field-based teams to align efforts and share insights.
- Contribute to broader planning, resourcing, and business objectives within the HIV business unit.
Customer Engagement & Promotional Activity
- Represent the product portfolio to a defined customer base using an omni-channel approach.
- Collaborate with territory partners to build business plans and deliver customer-focused activities.
- Manage budget allocations for speaker meetings, external events, and promotional activities aligned with business objectives.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all activities are compliant with relevant codes of practice, such as the ABPI (UK) and IPHA (Ireland), as applicable.
- Complete all mandatory training, including compliance, anti-bribery, and GxP, within the required timeframes.
- Maintain accurate reporting and customer interaction records using CRM tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Healthcare or allied health professional qualification required.
- Relevant knowledge and understanding of HIV treatment and standards of care.
- Proven ability to deliver service evaluation, audit, or continuous improvement in a clinical setting.
- Experience in developing and delivering educational content to clinical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with congress publications or project management is an advantage.
- Must have passed the ABPI Representatives Exam (or be willing to complete within the required timeframe).
- Flexibility to travel across the territory is essential.
