Locum Band 6 Physiotherapist – High Pay, Flexible Contract in Leicestershire!

Are you a Band 6 Physiotherapist looking for a rewarding locum role in Leicestershire? We have an exciting opportunity within a supportive inpatient oncology team, offering excellent pay and flexibility!

• Job Title: Physiotherapist (Band 6)

• Location: Leicestershire

• Duration: 3 months (with potential extension)

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: Ongoing (initial 3-month contract)

• Rate of Pay: £24–£26 per hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:Join our inpatient oncology team and play a key role in supporting patients living with and beyond cancer. In this role, you will:

• Perform comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for oncology inpatients

• Design and implement tailored rehabilitation plans

• Deliver evidence-based treatments to support mobility, function, and wellbeing

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, occupational therapists, and palliative care specialists

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid HCPC registration

• Experience working with oncology, palliative care, or complex medical patients

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• A compassionate approach and commitment to high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This is a full-time locum position, working Monday to Friday with some flexibility. The role is for an initial 3-month contract, with the likelihood of extension based on performance and service demand.
