Are you a skilled Pharmacy Technician eager to work in a supportive GP surgery environment? A fantastic opportunity has just opened up in Nottingham, offering a chance to step into a valued position within a progressive primary care team.

Role: GP Pharmacy TechnicianLocation: NottinghamContract Type: Locum - ongoingWorking Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (30-minute unpaid break)Start Date: August 2025Pay Rate: £19–£25 per hour

About the Role:

This position is ideal for a Pharmacy Technician confident in a GP practice setting and ready to contribute to a busy, patient-focused service. You'll work alongside an established clinical team using SystemOne, with a strong emphasis on medicines optimisation and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Handling medication reviews and queries

  • Supporting repeat prescription workflows

  • Conducting audits and helping maintain compliance standards

  • Collaborating closely with GPs, nurses, and clinical pharmacists

  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records via SystemOne

Ideal Candidate:

  • Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician

  • Recent experience working in a GP or primary care environment

  • Confident using SystemOne

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
