£58,616+ Per annum

Monday to Friday 9-5pm Office Based

Ballymena Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland


Were delighted to be recruiting for a Nurse Manager position at a well-established, 56-bed care home in Ballymena, Co. Antrim. This home provides high-quality care for adults with mental health needs, dementia, physical disabilities, and age-related conditions and now its looking for a passionate leader to take the helm.

For this role, you will need:

An active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council

An unrestricted nursing pin

Prior Deputy Nurse Manager experience.

Prior Nurse Manager experience Desirable

The role:

Carrying out home visits to observe and supervise Health Care Assistants

Ensuring that all patient data is entered, stored and retrieved according to internal policies and relevant legislation

Referring patients to specialist clinics or services

Collecting, collating and analysing patient feedback

Supervising a team comprising Nurses, Health Care Assistants and other clinicians

Reviewing and revising policies to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and best practice guidelines

Leading team meetings to address operational issues and share information

Developing a professional network

Maintaining a healthy collaborative team environment
