Occupational Health Nurse - Health screening/Surveillance
Location: Stafford region – Onsite
Salary: £33,000-£36,000 Depending on experience.(Based on 3-4 days per week)
Hours: Week days between Monday – Friday 22.5-30 hours per week.
Our client is an expert in the Occupational health sector and has a great opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse. To join their team, working with a client based in Stafford.

About you:
You must be an Occupational Health Nurse registered to the NMC.
You must hold experience working as an Occupational health Nurse.
You must have experience within health screening/health surveillance
You should be empathetic, supportive and passionate about your own continuous development.
A good in-depth knowledge in case management and health surveillance experience.
You must have excellent interpersonal skills.
You must be confident with all MS applications and able to use a computer confidently.
Understanding of occupational health management software and proforma templates.
Essential experience:
NMC registration with Occupational Health experience.
Desirable: IOSH Or other OH Qualifications or working towards.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. Health & Safety at Work Act, Equality Act, Data Protection Act).
Experience in both face to face and remote OH/Vocational Assessments.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- You will be completing 4-6 Assessments per day on each case.
- Supporting 121 clinics and assessment with staff on site.
- Administering immunisations and vaccinations.
- Deliver and coordinate health surveillance programs in accordance with health and safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., COSHH, Noise, HAVS, etc.)
- Dermatology and wound care.
- Completing fitness to work cases and capability assessments.
- Wellbeing support and guidance towards EAP.
- Facilitate back to work assessments and phased returns
- Physical and mental health assessments.
