Are you an experienced Occupational Health Physician looking for a dynamic role in the railway industry? We are seeking a dedicated medical professional to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of railway employees.

About the Role

As an Occupational Health Physician, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide expert medical advice, conduct health assessments, and support employees in maintaining their fitness for safety-critical roles. Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Conducting medical assessments for safety-critical workers

✅ Providing fitness-for-work evaluations and medical surveillance

✅ Advising on workplace health risks and preventative strategies

✅ Supporting employees with rehabilitation and return-to-work plans

✅ Collaborating with HR, safety teams, and external health providers

✅ Ensuring compliance with industry health and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Occupational Health Physician (DipOccMed minimum)

GMC registered with a background in occupational health

Experience in safety-critical industries (railway, transport, construction, etc.) is desirable

Understanding of railway medical standards (RIS-3751-TOM, Network Rail standards)

Excellent communication and decision-making skills
