Undertake clinical activities as part of the Ports OH function, e.g., blood pressure, vision, hearing, drug/alcohol, or lung function tests as well as BMI measurements and basic life support, while adhering to best practice guidelines
Assist in undertaking a range of service items e.g., Drivers medicals, Well Person medicals and any other service that be required.
Be accountable for delivery, recording and reporting health surveillance and escalating results of concerns to the on-site specialist medical clinician.
Ensure the delivery of the highest possible standards of quality assured, evidence-based practice.
Work unsupervised at times both in the department and at other premises, delivering high standard OH services to the workforce.
Assist the OH Team in supporting the clinical activities of the business.
Be responsible for cleaning and stock checking clinical areas as per protocols and checklists.
Help maintain clinical supplies and ensure that all clinical rooms are suitably maintained daily for the clinics to be carried out.
Comply with all OH policies, procedures, and practices and to be responsible for keeping up to date with any changes to these
Adhere strictly to Data protection policies and ensure that confidentiality is always maintained
Help promote the health and wellbeing of the workforce.
Ensure all communications are always conducted professionally and courteously whilst complying strictly with confidentiality and data protection requirements.
Support other team members through knowledge sharing and offering advice.
Proactively undertake OH administrative activity spanning the full employee lifecycle
Provide additional OH administrative support for other HPUK sites where required.
Take ownership of administrative tasks or processes through to completion, proactively resolving issues and monitoring data discrepancies.
