An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a committed Occupational Therapist in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
Salary £38,360 - £44,700 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience.
Specialism Acquired brain injury and a range of other neurological conditions such as Huntingtons disease, Parkinsons, and multiple sclerosis.
Purpose To provide an occupational therapy service by assessing, implementing (by self or colleagues), and evaluating programmes of person-centred care as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
Qualifications required. Diploma / BSC (Hons) in Occupational Therapy Current and valid Registration with Health & Care Professions Council Evidence of Continued Professional Development
Experience, Skills and Ability Knowledge and application of OT assessments and interventions using clinical reasoning An ability to work autonomously and to set own and support others priorities An ability to confidently assess and manage risk in relation to occupational performance An ability to organise, co-ordinate and respond efficiently to complex information Competent IT skills Knowledge of relevant legislation and its impact on current practice Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to build effective working relationships Desirable experience of working in a relevant setting, which can include practice placements
