We’re seeking an experienced and resilient General Practitioner to deliver high-quality primary care services within a Category B prison on the South Coast. This role offers a rare opportunity to work in a complex and highly rewarding clinical environment where your impact will be immediate and significant.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide holistic, patient-centred care to a diverse prison population
</li>
<li>
Conduct clinics including chronic disease management, acute care, and health screening
</li>
<li>
Work collaboratively with mental health, substance misuse, and nursing teams
</li>
<li>
Participate in MDTs and contribute to continuity of care and risk management
</li>
<li>
Support education, safeguarding, and health promotion initiatives within the prison
</li>
</ul>
About You:
<ul>
<li>
GMC registered with a license to practise
</li>
<li>
MRCGP or equivalent
</li>
<li>
Experience in secure environments, urgent care, or complex needs (desirable but not essential)
</li>
