Registered Veterinary Nurse - Newcastle

Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a new opportunity where you can make a real difference?

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality veterinary care to small animals. In this role, you will assist in a range of duties, including diagnostics, surgeries, and patient care, while building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their pets receive the best care possible. You will work alongside a dedicated team of vets and nurses in a friendly, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a range of veterinary nursing duties, including anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging, blood sampling, and patient monitoring.
• Assist with surgeries, including prep, sterile technique, and post-operative care.
• Deliver high standards of patient care in both clinical and hospital settings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, offering advice on pet health, preventative care, and treatments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with practice protocols.
• Manage in-patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and rehabilitation.

You will need to be a registered veterinary nurse with current RCVS membership.
