Senior Carer / Team Leader Community Care

Our client, a respected provider of community care services, is seeking an experienced Senior Carer / Team Leader to support and supervise their team in delivering high-quality care to clients in their own homes. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in community or domiciliary care whos ready to advance their career with both office-based and community responsibilities.

Important:This role does not offer visa sponsorship. You must have the right to work in the UK to be considered.

Package:

  • Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum
  • Full-time contract (37.5 hours per week), with a mix of office-based and community work
  • Pool car available for work purposes
  • Phone and uniform provided
  • Exceptional training and financial support to achieve Level 5 NVQ and beyond

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist management in supervising and supporting staff across the community care service
  • Mentor team members, providing ongoing support and coaching to align their work with company standards
  • Conduct client visits and perform spot checks, ensuring care plans reflect current needs and quality standards
  • Complete general administrative tasks, both in the office and the field, as required
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practices
  • Participate in an on-call rota to ensure 24/7 coverage for clients

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a valid UK driving licence and has their own transport
  • Seeks a full-time role with shift flexibility, including every other weekend
  • Has prior experience in care and is confident in supervising or leading a team
  • Holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (equivalent experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications)
  • Possesses strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Familiar with the local area and committed to supporting the community
  • Reliable, hardworking, and a team player who can also work independently
