Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (DOE & pro-rata)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8am - 4pm / 9am - 5pm | Full-time or part-time

Overview:
Compass Associates is proud to be partnering with a leading specialist education provider in the South West who has a college for children and young people (16 - 25) with autism spectrum disorders, complex learning disabilities, behavioural, and mental health issues.
This newly-created role offers the opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to make a significant, measurable contribution to the care and education of these vulnerable young people alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide triage, interventions, caseload management, and contribute to reviews and team meetings
- Support students’ mental health care alongside MDT members
- Support and guide care and education team in delivering person-centred care
- Develop and implement care plans reflecting each student’s EHCP and complex needs
- Support service delivery through training, consultation, and collaborative practice
Candidate Requirements:
- NMC (RMN or RNLD) or HCPC registration
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a CAMHS community/inpatient, or specialist education
- Collaborative, person-centred, passionate, flexible, and able to work autonomously
- Working with autism spectrum disorder or challenging behaviours (desirable)

- 1 stage - Face to face interview with Clinical Lead
- The process will be competency based and scenario based - assessing your experience, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate within the team
