We are currently seeking a Senior Assistant Technical Officer to join a busy and dynamic clinical pharmacy team in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a well-respected private organisation and make a real difference in patient care.
About the Role:
As a key member of the clinical services team, you will support the delivery of a safe and efficient patient-facing pharmacy service. You’ll work closely with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to ensure smooth daily operations within the dispensary.
Main Duties Will Include:

Receiving and preparing prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients
*
Dispensing and assembling medications under supervision
*
Providing dispensed medications to patients (post-assessment & training)
*
Supporting stock control, including ordering, rotation, and expiry checks
*
Conducting ward top-ups and processing over-the-counter payments
*
Assisting in medication deliveries to wards and patient homes
*
Answering telephone queries and liaising with internal/external contacts
*
Ensuring the dispensary remains clean, compliant, and well-organised
What We're Looking For:
*
BTEC or NVQ Level 2 in Pharmaceutical Services – essential
*
Previous experience in a pharmacy dispensary – essential
*
Strong communication and customer service skills
*
Ability to work independently and take initiative
