Key Responsibilities


Typical Services you will be delivering:


  • Wellness Assessments in collaboration with Veterinary Physiotherapists.
  • Weight and Nutritional Services.
  • Puppy and Dog training Classes.


Clinical Excellence:


As a Wellness Adviser you will:


  • Oversee a unique and engaging pet wellness journey.
  • Deliver nose-to-tail health checks.
  • Identify a pet’s behaviour and emotional health needs.
  • Develop and implement programs to maintain pet agility and activity levels.
  • Provide owners clear education and management guidance.
  • Prepare, organise, and deliver pet-related documentation with precision and care.
  • Deliver follow up appointments and reassessments.
  • Manage pet supervision and provide guidance through the complete wellness process.
  • Maintain cleanliness and ensure a welcoming, home-like environment.
  • Participate in delivering veterinary nurse related learning for in-house colleagues and contribute to internal and external CPD (Continuing Professional Development) events.
  • Fulfil CPD requirements in line with the recommendations of your governing body, tailored to both personal and business development needs.


You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes Veterinary Physiotherapists specialising in small animals (ACPAT Cat A and/or RAMP), Hydrotherapists, Groomers, Veterinary Behaviourists and Pain Management Clinicians.


Qualifications and Education Requirements


  • Registered Veterinary Nurse with active RCVS Registration.
  • Experience – 3 to 5 years as a veterinary nurse.
