About us
Our in-store small animal practice, situated in Bishops Stortford, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team!

Our team is made up of friendly, supportive, and professional individuals who prioritize high clinical standards and exceptional pet care. We work our cases up to a very high level and are looking for someone with the same commitment to providing the best care for our clients and their pets.

We are a 3.5 vet practice with a varied and interesting case load. Our vets are all highly experienced, led by Head Vet Susanne, and JVP Roger. Our head nurse and practice manager Dawn has worked in veterinary practice for over 30 years. The rest of our nursing team includes another two RVNs, and an SVN. We have a full reception team who ensure the smooth running of our practice.

At Bishops Stortford, we are well equipped with a full in-house lab, ultrasound, digital x-ray and dental x-ray. For our inpatients we have species-specific kennel areas

What we are looking for
  • A qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration
  • If you're a new graduate, looking at our graduate scheme, we as a practice support this and would be keen to see your application
  • We would preferably appoint a full-time applicant working 40hrs per week over 4 days (1:3 Saturdays with time off in lieu)
  • We are also flexible to consider part time applicants
  • No OOHs!
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for animal welfare and high-quality patient care
  • Team player attitude with the ability to work independently
