The Role

- Leading and developing the ward nursing team
- Managing staffing levels, workloads, and resources
- Upholding exceptional standards of patient care and safety
- Building strong working relationships with internal and external partners
- Driving clinical quality, training, and service development
- Supporting a culture of compassion, learning, and inclusivity
- NMC Registered Nurse (active PIN)
- Significant palliative care experience
- Strong leadership and team management track record
- Understanding of current healthcare legislation and safeguarding
- Excellent communication, organisation, and decision-making skills
- Up to £50k per annum + unsocial hours enhancements
