Are you a highly experienced Cardiac Physiologist looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join a dedicated Cardiology team in Hertfordshire.
As Chief Cardiac Physiologist, you will lead the delivery and development of high-quality diagnostic and interventional cardiac services. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, provide advanced clinical expertise, and supervise a team of physiologists to ensure excellent patient care across a broad range of cardiac investigations.
<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage the daily operation of the cardiac diagnostics department.</li>
<li>Perform and interpret a wide range of advanced cardiac procedures, including echocardiography, stress testing, and ambulatory monitoring.</li>
<li>Support the development and implementation of clinical protocols and service improvements.</li>
<li>Mentor and supervise junior staff, ensuring ongoing training and development.</li>
<li>Maintain high standards of clinical governance, audit, and quality assurance.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cardiology consultants and the wider healthcare team to optimise patient pathways.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Essential Criteria:</h3>
<ul>
<li>BSc Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent.</li>
<li>RCCP or AHCS registration (or eligibility).</li>
<li>Extensive experience in a range of cardiac diagnostic procedures.</li>
<li>Proven leadership skills with experience supervising staff or services.</li>
</ul>
