Are you a qualified Occupational Therapist and passionate about protecting the well-being of children and young people? An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced social worker to work in the city of Edinburgh!
We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for children, who is ready to join a multi-agency team and hit the ground running.
This contract is for a minimum of 3 months and offers a competitive hourly rate. The role offers the chance to build relationships with a wide range of contacts in the industry, and improve the quality of life of children and young people.
Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
Direct Occupational Therapist practice (70%)
Training and development (15%)
Role in child or adult protection incidents and concerns (15%)
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy recognised by the Health Professions Council
Registered with the Health Professions Council
Must be able to evidence established competence as an occupational therapist
Excellent communication skills
