Permanent Band 5 Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Our Client based in Romford is looking to hire a Locum Occupational Therapist with strong experience working within Acute Stroke and Neuro Team. The post is initially for 12 weeks; however, a further extension may be offered to the successful candidate. The hourly pay rate for this role is £20 - £22 P/H. You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for this position: Have a minimum of 6-12 months of NHS experience within Stroke and Neuro Rehabilitation, ideally in acute setting, but strong candidates with community experience may be considered for this post
Hold Occupational Therapy degree (MSc or BSc) and full HCPC registration
Be available to commence the role within a maximum of 2 weeks from the confirmation and happy to commit to a minimum period of three months

Locum Band 5 Stroke Occupational Therapist

Based within a fantastic Specialist Community Service in Romford, this position is ideal for an Occupational Therapist who needs a new challenge and wants to take their career to the next step. This position is suitable for a very experienced Specialist Neuro Occupational Therapist and would accept candidates on a band 6 level. The hourly pay rate for this role is £28 - £30 P/H. Our client is looking for candidates who meet all of the below criteria: Extensive experience in treating patients with multiple neurological conditions, i.e. MS, GBS, MND, PD, Stroke, etc.

Locum Band 7 Neuro Occupational Therapist

Lakefields Neurological Centre will be a 22-bed service that delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise their functional ability and improve their quality of life.The Centre specialises in neuro-rehabilitation, tracheostomy and ventilator care. Bedrooms are adapted to individual requirements, fitted with high dependency equipment including ceiling track hoists, wall mounted suction and oxygen equipment. There are also well-equipped therapy facilities, spacious lounge areas and wheelchair access to beautiful gardens. You will have experience in managing a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you'll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of training courses to support you reach your career goals. This role involves:
Completing assessments, p lanning sessions and im plementing intervention.
Evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities to aid mental health recovery. To be successful in this role:
Current HCPC registration and RCOTmembership.
