Hours: 17.5 per week JOB SUMMARY: 1. To oversee and supervise occupational therapeutic practice across the Locality teams, in discussion with the Principal Therapist and Team Managers. This will include ensuring high quality standards of professional practice and performance in service delivery, driving forward the delivery of strength based models of practice, maximising the use of service users individual strengths, and that of their support networks, community resources and universal services 2. Contribute to the management of the team and the overall delivery of occupational therapy services, taking a key role in overseeing occupational therapy practice within the team. 3. Your new role

What you'll need to succeed
State Registered Occupational Therapist.
Member of the College of Occupational Therapy (COT).
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Knowledge of COT and HCPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice.
Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.
Strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management.
Degree level educated, or equivalent.
Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
