We're on the lookout for a qualified Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to play a crucial role in the safe dispensing and supply of homecare prescriptions.This is a great opportunity for someone whos confident in final prescription checks, thrives in a regulated environment, and is passionate about supporting high standards in pharmacy operations.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Carrying out final accuracy checks on dispensed items, ensuring they meet all regulatory and clinical standards</li><li>Supporting the Responsible Pharmacist with technical dispensing duties</li><li>Overseeing and participating in the safe supply of medications in line with GPhC, MHRA, and Good Distribution Practice guidelines</li><li>Helping maintain full compliance with SOPs, health &amp; safety regulations, and quality systems</li><li>Supporting audits, stock control, and the investigation of any pharmacy incidents</li><li>Contributing to training and SOP development within the pharmacy team</li><li>Helping streamline the workflow so pharmacists can focus on patient-facing care</li><li>Supporting wholesale orders in line with MHRA requirements</li></ul>Key Skills:<ul><li>NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)</li><li>Registered with the GPhC</li><li>ACT Qualification essential</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy</li><li>Great organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure</li><li>A proactive mindset and a passion for continual improvement</li><li>Confident working as part of a team and supervising others when needed</li><li>Clear communication skills and a strong sense of patient care</li></ul>If you're looking for your next challenge then please get in touch today!
