Working and Training as Dental Nurse…
A dental nurse works side by side to the Dentist assisting them in a variety of NHS and Private dental procedures, ultimately making sure the patient care and experience is at its best.
As a Trainee Dental Nurse you will work in a supportive environment; we are passionate about building great teams who trust each other, work professionally, and take ownership for the success for the practice. This includes:
Assist the Dentist by providing chairside support ensuring that the correct equipment and materials are available
Provide support and assistance to a wide array of patients
Follow practice health and safety and infection control procedures
Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and disinfected
Accurately complete patient clinical records
Complete all clinical daily, weekly and monthly logs and checks
Roderick Dental Partners will support Trainee Nurses who have already signed up to or are working towards a Dental Nursing Qualification. For those, who have not yet begun a course, we can assist in finding a course provider.
The National Diploma in Dental Nursing (level 3) Qualification will include:

Face-to-Face training sessions
Completion of a record of experience
Written and Practical exams

Trainee Dental Nurse

Somerset are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join a well-structured and dynamic team. The client offers a full-time contract with an opportunity to work from home, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio. The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension. Main Duties for the Occupational Therapist includes. Work within our independent living centre based in Yeovil.
Carrying out onsite assessments and assessments within the community.
Complete complex moving and handling assessment and housing options assessments.
Provide expert advice and intervention regarding complex manual handling situations.
Experience of functional assessment experience of working with people with disabilities/vulnerable people.
Providing expert advice, and assessments for equipment and home modifications.
Recommending adaptations.
An awareness of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable people, plus an understanding of the importance of dignity &amp; respect when dealing with people. To Be Successful. Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community.
Experienced Adult Social Care OT required with minimum of 2 years' experience.
Previous experience working with adaptations.
Specialising in Single handed care/ complex moving and handling.
Manual handling experience.
HCPC Registration.
Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
