Hours: 17.5 per week JOB SUMMARY: 1. To oversee and supervise occupational therapeutic practice across the Locality teams, in discussion with the Principal Therapist and Team Managers. This will include ensuring high quality standards of professional practice and performance in service delivery, driving forward the delivery of strength based models of practice, maximising the use of service users individual strengths, and that of their support networks, community resources and universal services 2. Contribute to the management of the team and the overall delivery of occupational therapy services, taking a key role in overseeing occupational therapy practice within the team. 3. Support the Team Manager in ensuring the operational effectiveness of the team, allocating and prioritising workloads, supervising the correct recording and throughput of cases and taking responsibility for ensuring all cases are safely managed Occupational Therapist Requirements * Degree/Diploma * Proven post qualifying experience * Current HCPC registration * A detailed working knowledge of national policies and legislation relevant to the field of adult social care, including the Care Act 2014 * Knowledge and practical application of adult Safeguarding procedures * Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure * Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people Our locum workers benefit from - Excellent Rates
