Job description

We are looking for a motivated Podiatrist to join an established, patient‑focused healthcare team in Durham, County Durham. This role is ideal for an experienced HCPC registered Podiatrist or a newly qualified podiatry graduate seeking strong supervision and development in a supportive environment. You will deliver high‑quality podiatry services to patients of all ages in the Durham area, helping them manage foot conditions, improve mobility and reduce pain through evidence‑based treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out podiatry assessments, diagnosis and treatment for a varied caseload.
  • Provide routine podiatry care, diabetic foot checks, wound care and MSK/biomechanics where appropriate.
  • Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to support holistic, patient‑centred care.
  • Keep accurate, up‑to‑date clinical records in line with HCPC and local policies.
  • Participate in clinical audits and service improvements within the Durham podiatry service.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Podiatrist (or eligible to register).
  • Degree or equivalent in Podiatry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to high‑quality patient care and ongoing CPD.
