Job description:We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at the heart of our Grangemouth Manufacturing operations. Within this role you would manage and oversee the occupational health department, while owning, developing and maintaining the occupational health policies, procedures and managing data.Key responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Conducting pre-employment medicals, fit to work medicals and health surveillance.</li><li>Being responsible for management referrals, providing specialist advice to line managers and HR and escalate to physician where applicable, and perform individual risk assessments.</li><li>Implementing and maintaining compliance related to GDPR for managing of medical records and online platform (software), through digitalization and new technology.</li><li>Raising awareness, developing and leading monthly health / wellness promotions on relevant health and wellbeing topics.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and Syngenta Code of Practices related to Occupational Health.</li><li>Reviewing of health surveillance matrix (audiometry, spirometry and skin surveillance).</li><li>Reporting emerging trends from trend analysis and implementing action to address emerging trends.</li><li>Carrying out audits of facility.</li><li>Managing KPIs for Occupational Health department.</li></ul>Required profile:What we are looking for?<ul><li>Experience in an occupational health facility and proficient in occupational health and health surveillance techniques.</li><li>Relevant Occupational Health Degree and specialist practitioner.</li><li>Experience with RIDDOR reportable cases.</li><li>Good understanding of Occupational Hygiene and link between health and hygiene, plus previous Occupational Health Management experience desirable.</li><li>Registered General Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).</li><li>Ability to efficiently plan, organize and prioritize multiple activities with exhibit attention to detail.</li><li>Communicates effectively across all organization levels.</li><li>Highly ethical individual who leads with integrity and accountability.</li></ul>What we offer:<ul><li>Extensive benefits package including a generous pension scheme, bonus scheme, private medical &amp; life insurance. </li><li>Up to 31.5 days annual holiday.</li><li>We offer a position which contributes to valuable and impactful work in a stimulating and international environment. </li><li>Learning culture and wide range of training options.</li></ul>Syngenta has been ranked as a top 5 employer and number 1 in agriculture by Science Journal.
