Support Worker

If so, then we would really like to hear from you!We are currently recruiting Registered Nurses for a variety of residential and care settings based in Canterbury and the surrounding areas. We have a variety of ad-hoc shifts and block bookings available for RGN's providing support to service users with a variety of needs such as Learning Disabilities, Dementia and Palliative or Nursing Care.Role:You will be providing exceptional standards of care to service users to ensure residents can live as independently as possible, with continuity of care and quality of life. As a Registered Nurse, you will be expected to provide personal care, companionship and general nursing duties. You will work 12 hours shifts comprising of either of days and nights, either 8am - 8pm or 8pm - 8am over 7 days, based around your schedule with some shorter shifts available depending on staffing needs.Requirements:Ideally, you will have at least 2 years post qualification experience of supporting people in a variety of environments. You must also be a qualified Nurse with a valid NMC Pin, in either General, Mental Health or Learning Disabilities.A passion for providing high quality careExcellent communication skillsFriendly, caring and considerate natureMust be reliable and able to commit to at least 3 shifts per weekWilling to undertake an enhanced DBS checkValid Right to Work in the UKDriving Licence is desirable but not essential as most locations are easily commutable via public transportRewardsYou will be employed by SaferHandCare, an established and well-respected care agency who will guide you through the recruitment process with exceptional service.
