Based at a well-regarded district general hospital in Greater Manchester, this Clinical Fellow in Orthopaedics & Trauma role offers a balanced mix of elective orthopaedics and acute trauma work. Ideal for clinicians seeking to consolidate core surgical skills in a supportive, consultant led team.

- Attend daily consultant-led ward rounds and deliver comprehensive orthopaedic inpatient care, including pre- and post-operative management
- Maintain accurate, timely patient notes and arrange, review, and document investigations, discussing results promptly with the supervising consultant
- Respond efficiently to pager bleeps and support the team with unforeseen clinical emergencies
- Receive, triage, and assess acute orthopaedic referrals from A&E and occasionally from GPs
- Perform focused orthopaedic examinations and contribute to trauma assessments as part of the 1-in-7 on-call rota, including weekend cover
