Clinical Psychologist - ADHD/ASD Assessments (Newcastle)Location: Newcastle (Remote or On-Site)
Salary: £200 per assessment or £60,000 per annumWe are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join a growing Adult Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service specialising in ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) evaluations. This is an exciting opportunity for clinicians passionate about neurodevelopmental work and looking for a flexible, supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth.
The RoleYou will join a friendly, psychology-led multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality assessments for adults with varied and sometimes complex presentations. Responsibilities include:
Conducting specialist assessments for ADHD and/or ASD in adults
Delivering evidence-based, structured evaluations within an established pathway
Providing clear feedback and post-assessment guidance to service users and their families/carers
Offering clinical leadership, supervision, or training where appropriate
Contributing to service development, research, and quality improvement initiatives
Working flexibly across remote and face-to-face
A full-time role can be offered by combining responsibilities across multiple internal services.
Candidate RequirementsEssential:
Qualified (or soon-to-qualify) Clinical Psychologist (DClinPsy or equivalent) eligible for UK professional registration
Experience or strong interest in ADHD and/or ASD assessment
Excellent formulation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a small MDT
Experience in specialist psychological assessments or adult mental health settings
Desirable:

Additional training relating to Autism, ADHD, or relevant therapeutic approaches
Experience providing teaching, training, or supervision
