Job description
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our client in Norfolk, providing expert psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatments within a supportive adult mental health service. This essential role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient-centred care, including rehabilitation support and complex case management in a forward-thinking clinical environment committed to clinical excellence, staff wellbeing, and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities
- Perform detailed psychiatric assessments and diagnoses
- Create and oversee personalised treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with MDTs including psychologists and social workers
- Manage diverse adult patient caseloads in mental health services
- Lead rehabilitation programmes and interventions
- Supervise junior doctors and contribute to service improvements
Requirements
- GMC registration with specialist psychiatry training
- Demonstrated experience in adult mental health services
- Rehabilitation psychiatry experience advantageous
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
- Proven multidisciplinary team collaboration skills
