Job description
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our client in Hampshire, delivering expert psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatments within a supportive mental health framework. This pivotal role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, patient-centred care to adult patients, including those requiring rehabilitation and complex case management in a dynamic NHS/private setting renowned for clinical excellence and professional development.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnoses
- Develop and implement personalised treatment plans
- Collaborate with MDTs including psychologists and nurses
- Manage adult patient caseloads across mental health services
- Lead rehabilitation-focused interventions where needed
- Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to service development
Essential Requirements
- GMC registration with specialist training in psychiatry
- Proven experience in adult mental health services
- Rehabilitation psychiatry experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Commitment to multidisciplinary team working
