Job description
A dedicated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist is required to join a well-established mental health service in Nottinghamshire, working with adult patients in a supportive and multidisciplinary environment. In this role, the Consultant Psychiatrist will provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adults with a range of complex mental health conditions, contributing to safe, effective, and person centred care pathways.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop evidence-based treatment plans for adult patients.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure coordinated, holistic care across inpatient and community settings where required.
- Provide clinical leadership, risk management input, and ongoing review of patients under your care, ensuring high standards of mental health practice.
Requirements:
- GMC registration with specialist training in psychiatry
- Experience within mental health services, preferably including rehabilitation
- Strong communication and leadership skills
