Job description
We are looking to recruit an experienced Consultant Clinical or Counselling Psychologist for a rewarding role near Arnold, Nottinghamshire within a professional, forward-thinking mental health service where your expertise will make a real difference. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments for new referrals and create tailored therapy plans.
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches.
- Manage a caseload of adult clients, maintaining reviews and clear communication.
- Provide clinical input and supervision within the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports in line with clinical standards.
- Contribute to audits, research, and service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling).
- Proven experience working in adult mental health within outpatient, inpatient, or private settings.
- Strong communication, formulation, and therapeutic delivery skills.
- Effective teamwork and a proactive approach to service excellence.
