Job description
We are currently seeking Consultant Dermatologists to deliver specialist outpatient dermatology services in Newcastle upon Tyne, with clinics available on both weekdays and weekends. This is an ideal role for a Consultant Dermatologist looking for flexible, high‑quality clinical work in a well‑supported environment across the North East.
About the Role:
- £200-£250 per hour
- Inclusive of travel
- Accommodation options available for out‑of‑area consultants
- Adult‑only clinics
- 20‑minute appointment slots
- Administrative time built into clinical sessions
- Supportive multidisciplinary team and modern facilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dermatology outpatient consultations
- Complete patient notes promptly within and immediately after each session
- Review and action test results as required
- Dictate and approve clinic letters as part of routine service delivery
