Job description
Gastrointestinal Physiologist - Inverness, Scotland
An excellent opportunity for a skilled Gastrointestinal Physiologist to deliver a comprehensive range of GI physiology investigations within a well-supported, modern clinical environment.
Key Details:
- Predominantly midweek sessions, with optional weekend work available
- £110-£150 per hour
- Accommodation provided
- Candidates must be on the Specialist Register
Core Tests:
- Oesophageal manometry
- 24-hour pH monitoring
- Anorectal manometry
- Hydrogen breath testing
Additional Tests (as required):
- Endoanal ultrasound
- Pelvic floor biofeedback
Patient Cohort:
- Primarily adult patients
- Small paediatric caseload (approximately 5-10 patients per annum)
