Job description
Join a supportive GP practice as an Onsite Independent Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist, working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective medicines optimisation and patient-centred care.
About the Position:
- 5 days per week, onsite
- 3-6 month fixed-term contract
- £35 per hour
- Flexible hours, within practice opening times of 08:15-18:15
- Use EMIS Web for clinical records, prescribing activity and correspondence
- Conduct medication reviews and implement medication changes
- Prepare and action clinical letters
- Deliver face-to-face patient appointments
- Work closely with GPs, nurses and the wider practice team to support safe prescribing and improved patient outcomes

What We're Looking For:
- GPhC-registered Clinical Pharmacist with an Independent Prescribing qualification
- Confident using EMIS Web
- Experience completing medication reviews, managing medication changes and processing clinical correspondence
- Comfortable delivering face-to-face appointments
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach to primary care pharmacy
