York-based Locum GPs - join a vital prison healthcare service delivering comprehensive primary care to residents with diverse acute and chronic health challenges. Key Information
- £700-£850 per day (umbrella or Ltd company)
- Flexible 3-5 days per week
- Locum / Freelance contract
- Deliver face-to-face clinics with holistic, patient-centred care
- Conduct segregation rounds and complete accurate documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams, security staff, and MDTs
- Support continuity of care planning and health interventions
- Weekly payments via digital timesheets
- Personal consultant support
- Fast-track prison clearance assistance
- Free on-site parking
Requirements
- GMC registered with full licence to practise
- Prison clearance (essential - fast-track support available)
- Experience in primary care, urgent care, or secure environments advantageous
