Job description
We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist on the Specialist Register to undertake medicolegal assessments across the UK. Opportunities are available both onsite and remotely, offering flexibility for consultants seeking ad hoc work or long-term arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough medicolegal psychiatric assessments for a range of cases.
Prepare detailed, professional reports suitable for legal and clinical purposes.
Ensure assessments comply with relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards.
Liaise with solicitors, insurance providers, and other stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
Fully qualified Consultant Psychiatrist on the Specialist Register.
Proven experience in medicolegal assessments.
Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
Flexibility to undertake onsite or remote assignments nationwide.
