Job description
A great opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Technician to join a friendly pharmacy team near Dorchester. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 per year and the chance to develop your skills in a supportive environment.
You will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and patient-centred pharmacy services, working closely with pharmacists and wider healthcare colleagues. The role is ideal for a motivated technician who enjoys working accurately and proactively in a busy setting.
Key responsibilities
Support the safe and accurate dispensing of medicines
Provide advice and support to patients on the use of medicines
Assist with stock control, ordering and inventory management
Work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
Maintain accurate records and follow all relevant policies and procedures
About you
Qualified Pharmacy Technician with appropriate registration
Previous experience in a community or hospital pharmacy
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Good communication and teamwork skills
