Job description
A well-established pharmacy near Telford is inviting applications for a Pharmacy Technician (ACT).
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and accuracy-focused Pharmacy Technician to join a community-rooted team in a supportive and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Time/Part-Time role available
- Up to £35,000 per annum (D.O.E.)
- Conduct accuracy checks in accordance with GPhC and NHS regulations
- Support dispensing processes, ensuring safe labelling and packaging
- Maintain complete and compliant prescription records
- Proactively identify and report any prescription discrepancies
- Mentor junior team members and support training initiatives
- Stay current with industry regulations and continuing professional development
- Flexible start available

Ideal Candidate:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent per GPhC standards)
- GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician
- Demonstrated experience in accuracy checking within a UK pharmacy setting
- Detailed knowledge of UK pharmacy procedures and compliance requirements
- Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills
